Materials and rubber compounds

The compound decides how long a part survives in your assembly. Here are the working ranges and resistance of every group — so an engineer can choose the material without calling.

Material selector

Mark what the part meets and how hot it gets — we will show the compound groups that fit.

Medium and load
Continuous working temperature

The selector is indicative: ranges are for continuous service, agree short-term peaks with our technologist. The final compound for your pressure, motion and service life is set by our technologist.

How we work

How to choose a material

Four questions whose answers let us get the compound right the first time.

Medium

What the part touches: oil, fuel, water, steam, acid, alkali. A mistake here cuts service life several times over.

Temperature

The working range and short-term peaks. The upper limit narrows the choice far more than the lower one.

Pressure and load

Static sealing, impact loading or constant abrasion — this drives both hardness and compound filling.

Motion in the assembly

A fixed joint, reciprocating movement or rotation — this shapes both the compound and the geometry of the part.
